ABOUT OFF THE COURT FITNESS & WELLNESS, LLC

What started off as a side hustle with dry needling services in January 2025, Off The Court Fitness & Wellness, LLC became a full-blown concierge physical therapy clinic that specializes in providing personalized care that addresses your unique physical limitations, as well as assists with the mental barriers that come with injury or recovery. Our dedicated team employs a range of therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, mindfulness techniques, and pain management techniques to enhance your overall well-being.

Your body is meant to move. To run. To jump. To lift your kids. To crush your goals. But sometimes pain, tightness, or old habits get in the way. Whether you're recovering from an injury or seeking preventative care, our goal is to empower you to achieve a higher quality of life!

Both our physical therapy sessions and performance and wellness sessions are one-on-one, evidence-based, and built around YOUR goals. The physical therapy sessions focus on healing from injury and restoring movement, while our performance and wellness sessions help you stay strong, mobile, and injury-free — keeping you at your best both on and off the court.

Meet Dr. Courtney Morris, PT, DPT, ERA

Hey y'all! I’m Courtney — a physical therapist, Christian, wife, mom, and proud West Texan. I was born and raised in Odessa, and now I call Midland home with my husband, our son, and our two pups.

Movement has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I tried a little bit of everything growing up — dance for a short season, soccer for a while, but tennis is where I found my rhythm and still a big piece of who I am today. Sports taught me how the body adapts, how it struggles, how it heals, and how much our mindset matters. That foundation is at the heart of how I care for people now.

I founded Off The Court Fitness & Wellness, LLC because I believe you deserve more than rushed appointments, generic rehab plans, or being told to “just rest and wait.” I provide one-on-one physical therapy and performance-based wellness, focused on rebuilding confidence in your movement, not just reducing pain.

My clinical background includes outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. I use a blend of strength-based therapy, dry needling, hands-on techniques, and movement retraining to help guide your recovery and growth.

I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas  and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Before graduate school, I spent two and a half months in Dublin, Ireland completing a sports medicine physiotherapy internship, which shaped my approach to movement and performance. I continue to invest in advanced training in manual therapy (IAOM), dry needling (Structure & Function), and hold an Emergency Response for Athletes certification to assist game/events/competitions with Midland College, UTPB Athletics, and local gyms.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find me spending time with my family, reading, working puzzles, or out hunting when I can. Those quiet, grounded moments balance the energy I bring into my work.

But more than credentials or hobbies — what matters most is how we work together:

  • I listen first.
  • We set goals that feel meaningful to you.
  • And we train for strength, confidence, and longevity — not just to “get back to normal.”

Because if you move, you’re an athlete.
And
you belong here.

Our Three Phase Approach

REMOVE

First, we remove the limitations holding you back — whether that’s pain, mobility restrictions, or movement habits that aren’t serving you.

RESET

Next, we reset your body and mind with intentional techniques and movement patterns tailored to your goals.

REFORM

Finally, we reform your daily life through strategies and training that keep you progressing long after you leave the session.

This is how real change happens — step by step, phase by phase, with support that moves with you.
