What It Is:
A targeted technique where a specialized cuff is applied near the top of an arm or leg to partially restrict blood flow during low-load exercise. The goal is to stimulate muscle and strength adaptations while minimizing joint and tissue stress.

We use the SAGA Fitness Bluetooth cuffs for optimal precision to maintain set occlusion rate throughout the workout.


How It Works:
The cuff limits venous return while maintaining arterial inflow, creating a low-oxygen, high-metabolite environment in the working muscle.

This metabolic and mechanical stress triggers enhanced recruitment of fast-twitch fibres and muscle growth signalling—even when lifting lighter loads (20-40 % of 1RM) instead of heavy weights.

Because the load is lower, BFR allows for strength and size gains with less joint impact—an ideal bridge for rehab, performance and wellness.
